Inspired by a photography session in Penzance harbour in September of 2020, these images are cyanotypes made in the sunshine of Spring/Summer 2021. The images are on quality watercolour paper and framed to capture the memories of summer, swimming and sharing our sea with the natural world.

These images were inspired by the work of other artists highlighting the destruction of the marine world. Regular trips to Newlyn have also raised awareness of the plight of the fishing industry and its impact on local communities.

50% of the proceeds of sale of these images will be donated to the Marine Conservation Society, a not-for-profit organisation whose environmental goals for the coastal life run parallel to those of Sue in the running of their farm in rural Leicestershire.
